Wednesday- We flew into Denver and Aaron's grandparents picked us up from the airport. We went to Costco (love that place) and got some food. Then we went back to their house, and Aaron's mom and brothers and sisters were already at the house. While Grandma and Grandpa went back to pick up another family, we hiked up to this dam that had this gorgeous lake at the top. It took forever and we were tired by the end, but it was worth it. I don't have any pictures though because I didn't take my camera. We then went home and saw Aaron's uncles and Aunts that had already arrived with their kids.
Thursday- We got up and waited for the rest of the family to get into town. Finally the Jensen's arrived and we went to this Community Recreational Center. It had basketball courts, volleyball, and an indoor waterpark area. It was a blast. We had fun on the diving board and going down the water slides. Then we went home and ate and did a bunch of stuff around the house.
There was a lot to do in the neighborhood. They had tennis courts, swimming pool, a park about a block away that had a lake and also sand volleyball, which was a lot of fun. Thursday night the Jolley's got there and of course any time anyone showed up it got ten times louder.
Friday- We got up and went to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was so awesome. The hike was fun and we hiked up to a waterfall. My sister Wendy and her husband and two kids met us and came with us on the hike. After the hiking, Aaron went back with his family home, and I drove up this steep and windy path in RMNP with my sister and her family. It was scarey going up but the scenery was awesome. Finally we made it to the top where it was 40 degrees, snowy and we were 12,000 feet above sea level. It was amazing, but yet again.... I didn't have my camera. What was I thinking? On the way down the mountain there was a traffic jam and we couldn't see what it was. IT turned out to be these huge six point elks sitting right on the side of the road so everyone was stopping to take pictures.
Saturday- We hung out around the house. Played volleyball. Swam. Did Relay races...etc. We then went to some fireworks in Longmont. They were awesome. We got there early and then played pickle in the parking lot next to where we were. There were 45 of us so games were fun.
Sunday- We got up and watched Federer and Roddick play their amazing game of tennis and then went to church, and only stayed for Sacrament because Aaron and I had to leave at 3:30. After church we went home and had a fabulous sunday dinner, and then had our family talent shows. It was awesome. Right after we flew out!!!
I love Aaron's family reunions and I can't wait another two years until the next one. I really hope we can make it to the next one! Here are some pictures.

Me and Aaron in front of the waterfall after our hike.

My sister's family.

This is us doing our skit as a family. We were syncronized swimmers.

Marci, Dave, Brock, Brenly and Ellie all in the lazy river.

Grandma, Karen, and Harry posing at the pool.

Aaron feeding a chipmunk when we stopped for lunch on our hike.

I kept having to stop on the trail to get rocks out of my shoes.

Jeff and Lori during the relay races.

Marci, Mallory, Brenley, Brock and Abby waiting to do their skit.

The Wights did some upside down chin singing. It was awesome.

The Jensen's sang and danced with hola hoops and firecrackers.
In all we had a blast, and I will be posting about my family reunion in about two weeks!! woohoo!!

I have so swum in that lazy river with my nephew, good ol' Longmont Rec Center. Though next time I recommend Water World in Denver - definitely more expensive, but infinitely more awesome! I'm glad you had so much fun in my homestate (and town!) - I miss it!
What a fun family reunion. Whenever we do family reunions, we just stay in our immediate family click. We're anti-socials I guess!
It looks like SO much fun! It's very pretty there! We miss you guys. Jeff & I keep saying we need to call you guys, but...we haven't! :) How's your house coming along?
