Aaron's Hole

Aaron had to dig a hole right behind our back porch to look for a pipe that needs to be cleaned out. He didn't find it, but he was still proud of his giant hole that he dug. It was about as long as him, and few feet deep.

Aaron acting like he just dug his own grave.

Reading

Wendy and Scott came to visit the day after Christmas for a week. Scott and Aaron both love to read, so a lot of the time if we weren't doing anything they would be sitting there reading. This is them right before we were about to go somewhere. They were waiting by the door...reading! Must have been a good part.

Christmas 2008

We spent Christmas in Paris this year with Aaron's family. We had a blast. We played basketball, did the nativity scene from the scriptures, and just enjoying being around eachother.

This is the giant Christmas tree. Aaron's Mom gets a bigger one each year. As you can see this one is pretty big! They had to cut five feet off the top to get it in the house. Look at all those presents!

Here is Christmas morning after Santa came.

Hannah with all her stuff from Santa.

Our stuff from Santa.

Dalin walking around all the furniture.

The boys playing their new video game they got for Christmas. Notice that Dalin is only 9 months old but he can't resist watching either....he's a true Murdock!

Aaron's Graduation

Leave it to Aaron to use his fake diploma as a bat.

Here he is getting his diploma.

Best Thanksgiving Ever!

For Thanksgiving this year we went to my sister Wendy's house in Colorado. It was so much fun. She has a huge house with a basement. In the basement she has a ping pong table, air hockey, etc. It spent a lot of time playing ping pong and also playing poker. (not using real money of course.) Also while we were there it snowed! We got to go sledding on a huge hill. Aaron's grandparents who live in Colorado where also able to come over for Thanksgiving dinner that day. It was a great trip filled, with seeing movies, shopping, having girls days and boys days and even playing hide and go seek in the dark. Here are some pictures from the trip!

Everybody that was there!

Our funny faces!

This is when all the adults went to eat at a restaurant that I cannot remember the name of. It was a really good restaurant, but we had to wait FOREVER for everything. First to get a table, then to order, then to get our food, then to get our check. Not the most pleasent of experiences, but at least the food was good!

This is when all the girls left the boys home with the kids, and we went shopping!

This is the boys before they went snowboarding/skiing. Aaron and Scott came home with injuries, and Phillip was sore the rest of the week.

This is us playing our nightly game of poker.

Us getting ready to go sledding.

This is my brother Phillip with his awesome hat.

Me and Aaron in the first night it snowed.

Lots of stuff!

Okay so no pictures of the house yet...because 1. we aren't finished completely, and 2. I haven't taken any yet and I still have to decorate somemore. My sister Wendy came last week and helped me pick out a lot of cute stuff! There are a lot of things that have gone wrong too. Our drain to our washing machine is clogged or something...which caused a small flood and we had rip up some of the hardwood...not fun. Also last night it was raining really hard and I could hear where the roof was leaking onto the ceiling in the room we were in. So Aaron and my dad went up in the attic and put a bucket up there. They are going to patch the roof this week sometime. So among all the semi-bad things happening with the house, there are some very good things too. We got a new rug...which I am thrilled about. We got wireless internet out here in the boonies, so now I can blog again! Aaron graduated a few weeks ago so that was awesome. (I Will post pictures prob Sunday.) And I got a 94 on my first accounting test!
Most of you know my situation with not being able to get pregnant. Well I went to the doctor today because I am on clomid and every month I go in around ovulation time so she can do a sonogram and check to see how many follicles I have. Well today went really well. She said my uterus looked awesome, and both of my ovaries have a follicle that is ready to ovulate at any minute! So I have two! THe past two months I have had only one, and both were small and strange shaped. My doctor was very excited and told me that she thinks this might be the month! So we'll see! I am praying! She even gave me a hug which she never does so she must have been very happy! So that is my good news for the day. And to top it all off my birthday is coming up in three weeks! Woohoo! So those are all the wonderful things that have been happening to me lately!
