Here is the porch after I cleaned it off and we got rid of the bushes that were right by the porch.

Here is all the bushes gone!! We still have a lot of work to do on the pool itself and also the dirt work around the pool, but it is coming along! I will post more pictures later! this is what we see when we look out the windows now. We can see all the way down to the back instead of bushes. Notice the sun coming through the trees. I can't wait until we're done!

ahhh, the sun shining like that is like a ray of hope! ha ha, no really, it's almost like you can hear opera singers as the pool area transforms while the sun shines on it. hee hee, know what i mean?
You guys work so hard, it looks so good! And the back porch, great job.
You're right - I'm such a slacker; I totally should have told you I was coming down. I forgot how close you were to there. Dad moved down there for work back in January or so and Joe joined him last month to work down there over the summer to help pay off school loans and such and prepare for taking the firefighter exams in the fall. Yep, hopefully I'm gonna have a hottie firefighter brother!
